Guwahati: Taking to Twitter on Thursday, Assam Health and Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma shared the 3-D views of the proposed Charaidew Medical College at Sonari. He also mentioned that the state government is likely to construct four new medical colleges within December this year.
This comes days after Sarma announced several development schemes for the state. Earlier, Sarma stated that the State Government has approved a sum of Rs10,000 crores for the infrastructural development of the state and will be the highest capital investment in the history of Assam.
Further, the minister also stated that Rs.2050 crores have been sanctioned for the upcoming four medical colleges by the state government.
