Hindi book on Assam and Manipur history released in Golaghat Commerce College

GOLAGHAT: A book on Assam and Manipur history was unveiled in Golaghat. The book has been published in Hindi and is written by Junti Dowerah, Head of the Department of Hindi at Golaghat Commerce College.

The book titled Assam aur Manipur Ke Itihas ki Jhalak is the Hindi translated version of the Assamese historical book Asom Aru Manipur r Buronjir Jilingoni by veteran journalist Apurba Baruah from Golaghat which was published in the year 2014. Unveiling the Hindi translated book, noted educationists Upen Dutta and Surendra Nath Rajkumar said that it would help the larger section of the society, especially the Hindi-speaking people, to know about the history of Assam and Manipur. They praised the effort of writer Junti Dowerah and thanked her for such a contribution to the Indian society.
