Hindustan Unilever Limited Launches Mission HOPE in Assam

DIBRUGARH: Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) rolled out Mission HOPE in Assam in mid-May 2021. In its initial stage, HUL medium factory donated three oxygen concentrators, two ventilators and facemasks to the ADC Tinsukia, and subsequently to Civil Hospital, Tinsukia to provide support for COVID-19 care.

This was further augmented by the contribution of 30 oxygen concentrators, 6 lakh Lifebuoy sanitizer sachets, and over 14,000 Horlicks sachets to the Tinsukia district administration. In response to the district administration's request, HUL contributed additional 20 oxygen concentrators and 450 pulse oximeters recently, which will be utilized for screening process. These were handed over to the Deputy Commissioner, Tinsukia Narsing Pawar. Further, the Doomdooma Factory team has been on ground sanitizing markets, government offices, COVID Care Centres regularly.
