Homage paid to noted science curator Dr Pranabjyoti Chetia in Demow Press Club premises

DEMOW: Under the joint initiative of Demow Press Club and Sanmilita Prayash, a green (heuj) shradhanjali programme for noted science curator Dr Pranabjyoti Chetia was organized in the Demow Press Club premises on Tuesday.

Dr Pranabjyoti Chetia was the curator of Jorhat Science Centre and Planetarium who died recently. Dr Bijoy Krishna Chetia, convenor of Sanmilita Prayash, spoke about Dr Pranabjyoti Chetia in the beginning of the programme. Three saplings were planted in front of Demow Press Club as homage to Dr Chetia.

In the programme, Ghana Kanta Gogoi, retired Principal of Demow Higher Secondary School, Hamida Begum, Professor of Sociology Department in Demow College, and other dignitaries spoke about Dr Chetia.
