Home Department reshuffled Assam Police administration

GUWAHATI: The Home Department has reshuffled the state police administration on Wednesday.

The department has transferred and posted 2 I/C of 10th APBn Purabi Mazumdar attached to Assam Police Headquarters as Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Admn.) at the Police Commissionorate, Guwahati, with effect from the date of taking over charge.

The department transferred and posted 2 I/C of 11th APBn, Dergaon and attached to CID Headquarters Geetanjali Doley as Additional Superintendent of Police (CID) with effect from the date of taking over charge. The department transferred and posted an Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police.

(Border), Police Commissionerate and attached to CM's security Dipjyoti Talukdar as Additional Superintendent of Police (Security) to CM.
