HS First Year Exam cancelled by AHSEC, students get direct promotion

Assam: The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council(AHSEC) will not hold its HS first year examination this year due to the nationwide lockdown, imposed by the Union Government to check the spread of novel coronavirus. The Council revealed that it will directly promote the Class XI students to the second year. The HS first year examination was scheduled for March 25 to April 10. The Council will formally announce the decision on April 10, informed its Chairman Dayananda Borgohain to media.
