Guwahati: Tourists in Kaziranga National Park (KNP) on Thursday spotted a Burmese python that was about 12-15 feet long.
The Python slithered out of a roadside bush and made its way near Kathpora forest camp at the KNP bringing the safari expedition to a standstill.
Overwhelmed by this view, tourists who were out on a safari expedition captured the moment in their cameras.
The giant python was crossing the road in front of a tourist vehicle near Kathpora forest camp at Kohora range in the afternoon.
Notably, tourists a get a very few chances to witness such moments despite Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve being home to a large number of pythons.
