KOKRAJHAR: After putting maximum effort into checking and conducting raids ahead of the assembly election in the district, the Static Surveillance Teams and Flying Squads, in association with police personnel, on Thursday evening seized around 100 litres of Bhutan made liquor and Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) at Dadgari, near the Indo-Bhutan border. The teams conducted a raid in that area based on an intelligence input and recovered the huge quantity of liquor from an abandoned house.
DEMOW: During checking, Flying Squad Team seized two cartons of foreign liquor from a car (AS 04 Z 4889) in Nitai Naojan on Thursday. It is suspected that the seized liquor was brought to be distributed among voters.
