Illegal liquor seized at Khanamukh area in Sonitpur District

TEZPUR: Acting on a tip-off, an Excise raid was carried out on January 30 at Khanamukh area in Sonitpur District under Excise Circles of Tezpur. During the raid, a truck carrying 215 cases of IMFL was seized. The consignment was kept in its secret chamber attached back to the driver's cabin. The consignment was loaded at Likabali and was being transported for sale in Arunachal Pradesh. In this connection a person has been arrested.
