Illegal liquor seized in Doomdooma

DOOMDOOMA: In a major breakthrough, the Excise Department, based on public complaint, conducted raids at different places like Ahukhat, Balogada, Narasingha gaon (Dimpara), Thanda Ghar (Rongpuria) and St Luke's Hospital Tinali area under Tinsukia Police Station on Tuesday. The excise officials seized 110 litres of illegal country liquor, 3,600 litres of illegal foreign liquor, 4550 litres of beer and two liquor-making utensils. Altogether six cases have been registered against the persons involved in the illegal liquor trade.
