Illegal wood seized by Chirang district forest department and police

Bongaigaon: Chirang district forest department and Chirang Police, in a joint operation, seized illegal wood on Saturday from the Vandarighat Alukhunda area under Panbari PS of Chirang district. SDPO Prakash Medhi had led the joint operation where total 190 pieces of wood were recovered. The forest department said that the value of the seized wood would be more than Rs 2 lakh.
