Tezpur: Under the aegis of the Indian Army, 4004 Field Hospital conducted a number of medical camps and carried out a host of flood relief activities. In continuation of this philosophy, under Project OP-Sadbhavana, 4004 Filed Hospital, conducted a medical camp at Bhomoraguri Ghat LP School recently.

More than 938 patients, hailing from Bhomoraguri area and several other nearby villages availed the medical services extended during the camp. Medical consultancy team, comprising of doctors from 4004 Field Hospital and dental surgeon from 4 Corps Dental Unit provided free consultancy and medicines , worth Rs. 1.50 Lakh, to the villagers. The main diseases ailing people were worm infestations, fever, skin diseases, respiratory infections, in general and urinary infections, Anemia and Leucorrhoea among female population.
