Indian Army, Assam Police launched an operation & MULTA cadre apprehended in Dhubri

Gossaigaon/Dhubri: A joint team of Indian Army and Assam Police launched an operation at Parbothjhora area of Kokrajhar district on Saturday and apprehended one extremist. The apprehended person has been identified as Abdul Khalek (21), son of Maula Baksh, resident of Debattar Khopati village under Kazigaon PS of Kokrajhar district, and he is suspected to be a cadre of MULTA. One 7.65mm pistol and five rounds of live bullets were recovered from his possession. He was handed over to Kazigaon Police Station for further investigation.
