UDALGURI: A unit of Red Horns Division distributed bicycles to 30 needy students of BPL category at village Patkijuli in the Baksa district on November 11. The event was organized as part of Operation Sadbhavana of the Indian Army. This initiative by the Indian Army was greatly appreciated by the local population as it will be of great help to students belonging to BPL category in order to cover long-distances to reach their school.

It will uplift the education standards in the remote corners of Assam and motivate the students for excellence in education. This initiative by the Red Horns Division is a step towards child education and empowerment.
