Indian Army provides solar street lights in Tinsukia district

TEZPUR: Indian Army provided solar street lights to Tokowpathar village in Tinsukia district. The installation of solar street lights will help in basic infrastructure development and provide energy-efficient street lights to the village, which faces an acute shortage of electricity.

PRO (Defence) Tezpur, Lt Col A S Walia informed that the lights were handed over to the villagers at a function organized at Lower Primary School by the Red Shield Division and was witnessed by key members of the village council along with other 200 villagers.
