Indian Constitution Day observed in Biswanath College

Biswanath Chariali: Constitution Day was observed with a day-long programme at Biswanath College recently. Students, teachers and employees of the college read out the Preamble to the Indian Constitution. A slogan competition was also organized by the Department of Political Science, besides a session to appraise students of the importance of the day and the uniqueness of the Indian Constitution. Deba Roy, Jaya Devi and Siya Chatti secured first three positions respectively in the slogan competition. The session was attended by a host of teachers and more than 300 students.
