TINSUKIA: Along with rest of the country, the Tinsukia branch of Indian Medical Association (IMA) observed a relay hunger strike in protest against the proposed Central Council of Indian Medicine's (CCIM) decision allowing 'Mixopathy' on Monday and Tuesday at IMA House, Tinsukia.
More than 50 doctors from different IMA branches of the district participated. Dr Prasant Agarwal, secretary of IMA Tinsukia, said that the concept of Mixopathy would be the biggest threat to the quality and safety of the healthcare system in the country.
