Intellectual Property Rights workshop in Dibrugarh

Dibrugarh: A national workshop on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) was held at DHSK Commerce College on June 22. The workshop, attended by a total of 90 participants including both faculty members as well as students from various institutions, was organized by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell(IQAC) of the institution. Dr DP Rajkhowa, Director, Directorate of Open and Distance Learning’(DODL), attended the inaugural programme as the chief guest.

Dr. KM Bhagawati, Principal of the college, delivered the welcome address. The first, as well as second technical session of the workshop, was conducted by resource persons Prof. P. Das, Department of Chemistry and Prof. C. Rout, Department of Law, North Eastern Hill University (NEHU). The interaction was held between resource person and the participants at the end of each session. The valedictory session was chaired by Dr. KM Bhagawati. Prof. C. Rout, resource person of the workshop, expressed his observations during the workshop. Dr. SR Doley, convenor, Research, Innovation and Extension Cell (RIEC) under IQAC, offered the vote of thanks at the end of the session.
