Interactive session held between Additional Director of Central Government Health Scheme and Central government employees

GUWAHATI: An interactive session with the Central government employees and pensioners with the Additional Director of Central Government Health Scheme(CGHS), Guwahati was held on Monday in Dibrugarh. The session was held to discuss about the functioning of the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS Wellness Centre) following the merger of Postal dispensary of Dibrugarh at the Dibrugarh Head Post Office. In the meeting, the service being provided to its beneficiaries were discussed. Consultation & medicines including lifesaving drugs, investigation hospitalisations etc. are being provided to the beneficiaries. The system of medical reimbursement is either through empanelled hospitals or private hospitals. It is at par with the CGHS rules which is much simpler than that of CSMA (Central Services Medical Attendance) rules. Around 60 participants were present in the session. The senior pensioners from Dibrugarh were felicitated on behalf of the Directorate of Central Government Health Scheme, Guwahati. (PIB)
