College of Education, Nagaon organized an international art exhibition-cum workshop on ‘Harmony of ink and colour’ at the college premises recently. Over 27 artists from India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka participated in the workshop-cum-exhibition.

NAGAON: College of Education, Nagaon organized an international art exhibition-cum workshop on ‘Harmony of ink and colour’ at the college premises recently. Over 27 artists from India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka participated in the workshop-cum-exhibition.

The principal of the college, Dr Manoshikha Baruah lit the lamp and inaugurated the programme. While addressing the occasion, she stated the aims and objectives of the programme following which the artistes as well as other participants were felicitated with a gamusa and a memento.

Alok Goswami, president, governing body, College of Education, Nagaon delivered the welcome address while Munindra Narayan Bhattacharya attended the programme as the chief guest. Munindra Narayan Bhattacharya also inaugurated the exhibition and technical session.

Along with 27 invitees from across the globe, over 300 other participants from across the district participated in the second session. Both the sessions were vibrant and colourful. At the end of both the technical sessions, certificates were distributed among the participants. Principal of the institution, Dr Manoshikha Baruah offered the vote of thanks.
