International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women observed

BONGAIGAON: Along with the other parts of world, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women was observed in Bongaigaon also by North East Frontier Railway Mazdoor Union women's wing.

A meeting was organized in this regard at NFRMU's workshop branch premises. Several noted persons, including TultulBhowmik, renowned advocate, JituDasGupta, president of domestic workers' association, Bongaigaon branch, and Semima Begum, secretary of women's wing of NFRMU New Bongaigaon Workshop branch, were present in this programme.
