International Nurses Day observed in Demow Model Hospital

DEMOW: The International Nurses Day was observed in Demow Model Hospital on Tuesday. On the occasion, the ceremonial lamp in front of the portrait of Florence Nightingale was lit by Dr. Rupam Borkotoky, Deputy Superintendent of Demow Model Hospital. Dipali Dutta, Assistant Matron of Demow Model Hospital, anchored the programme. A one-minute silence was observed for the health workers who lost their lives during the fight against COVID-19. The health workers appealed to people to maintain social distancing, wear masks and washing hands regularly.
