IOC launches composite cylinder in Nagaon

Nagaon: Indian Oil Corporation in association with Indane Gas cylinder distributors of Nagaon ceremonially launched the composite cylinders in the district under 'Smart cylinder - smart kitchen' at a function held at Nagaon circuit house on Friday.

The smart service of the composite cylinders was ceremonially inaugurated in presence of a host of officials from Indian Oil Corporation by the local MLA Rupak Sarma.

SDO, Nagaon Sadar, Dhiraj Jain, the owners of five gas cylinder distributors of the town and a dozen of gas cylinder subscribers graced the function. During the programme, the gas cylinder distributors also distributed composite cylinders among a few subscribers.

Kalyan Nath, official of Guwahati Division, Indian Oil Corporation, spoke about the benefits of using composite cylinders and urged households of the district to use the smart cylinder in their respective kitchens.

Significantly, a composite cylinder is comparatively less weight and it is made of special quality fibres for which one can carry it easily from one place to other, a release added.
