Guwahati: Hours after senior BJP leader Himanta Biswa Sarma was sworn in as Assam's chief minister, Amul, the Gujarat-based dairy behemoth, congratulated the 52-year-old Sarma in its trademark theme.

"Ispar Biswas Karo! Sar, Makhan Khao," Amul said in a tweet. The sentence literally translates to "believe in it, sir eat the butter."

This statement, when you read in between the lines, can also be perceived as Amul indirectly urging its customers to believe in the newly elected CM of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma.

The fact that the Gujarat-based dairy behemoth used the Assamese accent of saying 'sir' as 'sar' is hillarious.

The tweet received 1,605 likes and 237 retweets as of Tuesday morning at 8 a.m.

This unique way of congratulating the newly elected CM of Assam has been making headlines and is being widely shared on various social media platforms.

Himanta Biswa Sarma, the most instrumental political figure of North East India revered by many as the modern-day Chanakya on Monday took oath in Guwahati as the 15th chief minister of Assam.

It was a dream come true for Sarma, as he from a very young age aspired to take hold of the apex office in the State. According to his wife Riniki Bhuyan Sarma, he confidently told her to tell her mother that one day he is going to be the Chief Minister of Assam when he was 22 years old and his wife Riniki was only 17.
