Jamuguri Press Club to confer the Jayanta Neog Memorial Award to journalist Deepak Bora

MERAPANI: Jamuguri Press Club (JPC) will confer the Jayanta Neog Memorial Award to journalist Deepak Bora, said Jayanta Hazarika, the secretary of the press club. He added that the award would be given in the 4th biennial conference of the press club to be held on June 2 and June 3. In the same function, the Bir Biruchon Chutia Award will be conferred to Alaka Dutta, the HSLC achiever of Charaimari High School of Merapani subdivision. Padmashree Jadav Payeng will attend the felicitation programme, said Partha Pratim Saikia.
