Jawaharlal Nehru College organizes campus placement drive-cum-job fair in Boko

BOKO: Jawaharlal Nehru College, Boko organized a campus placement drive-cum-job fair for the students in college premises on Tuesday.

Under the UGC community college scheme, J N College along with Educative, a skill development and test prep training facilitator, jointly organized the program. In this day-long job mela, various companies conducted job interviews.

Gaurav Kheka, an official of Educative, said that training was conducted in the college since the last year under the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) scheme and the job fair was one of the components of the NSQF.

Dr. Tapan Dutta, Principal of J N College, said that it was a matter of pride that a college was conducting a job fair for the first time and it was a very good opportunity for the college students. More than 150 students of the college took part in the job interviews.
