Jhanji Hem Nath Sarmah College, Sivasagar all set ready for NAAC assessment

GAURISAGAR: The Jhanji Hem Nath Sarmah College is one of the premier higher educational institutes in the greater Jhanji area in the Sivasagar district established in 1964 at the historic Jamuguri Chapori in the name of Hem Nath Sarmah, a prominent educationist.

The college has been promoting higher education since its establishment. A peer team of the National Assessment of Accreditation Council (NAAC) will visit the college for the third cycle on May 12 and May 13. Bhabani Kumar Baruah, president, college governing body, Dr Manjit Gogoi, principal of the college, and college IQAC Coordinator Bidyadhar Baruah sought public cooperation and presence during the NAAC Peer team visit.
