Jinjia police shot rapist at Kathanibari in Biswanath district

BISWANATH CHARIALI: The Jinjia police shot at a rapist at Kathanibari in Biswanath district on Monday.

The injured person has been admitted to the Tezpur Medical College and Hospital. Police opened fire at the rapist for trying to escape from the police custody.

The 60-year-old man, named Mahim Sharma, allegedly molested a 7-year-old girl at Kathanibari on Saturday.
