BAKSA: "Our party candidates will show good results in the bye-polls to be held in five assembly constituencies in the State. People will vote for us in all the assembly constituencies," said Ranjeet Kumar Dass, Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Government of Assam. Minister Dass made this remarks while talking to media persons when he came to Tamulpur on Wednesday to campaign on behalf of United People's Party Liberal (UPPL) candidate Jolen Daimary, who is backed by the BJP-UPPL-AGP alliance in No. 58 Tamulpur assembly constituency.

Dass again said that there was no doubt that alliance candidate and youth leader Jolen Daimary would win the Tamulpur assembly constituency by a huge margin. "We are campaigning only to ensure that he gets more than one lakh votes," said Dass.

The minister visited the Ramechuburi Wednesday weekly market with UPPL and BJP leaders to campaign for Jolen Daimary. He interacted with people. Many local businessmen informed the minister about the plight of Ramechuburi market and requested him to develop the infrastructure of the market. Dass also went to Gandhibari weekly market.
