JORHAT: Along with the rest of the country, in Jorhat to the two-day All India bank strike was observed by various banks, associations and employee unions at their respective workplaces.
They demanded that their problems must be solved and at the same time submitted a memorandum to the Prime Minister of India through the Deputy Commissioner Roshni Aparanji Korati, said Jagdish Chandra Paul, the deputy general secretary of SBI Officers’ Association-NE Circle, on Saturday.
Jagdish Chandra Paul in his statement welcomed the Centre’s budget which was placed in the Parliament. He said that it would address the grievances of bank employees and also help in the growth of the country’s economy.
