Jorhat SP Jitmol Doley visits Agriculture farm of 'Pothar Konya'

JORHAT: Newly-joined Superintendent of Police of Jorhat, Jitmol Doley on Saturday paid a courtesy visit to the agricultural farm of 'Pothar Konya' Nabanita Das at Potiya Fokola village on the outskirts of Jorhat town.

Jitmol Doley, an alumnus of Assam Agriculture University, Jorhat, made this visit to inspire and encourage the promising lady Agri entrepreneur Nabanita Das who was conferred with the 'Best Woman Farmer of the Country' award by the Government of India last year. During his visit, Superintendent of Police Jitmol Doley discussed various aspects about the agricultural farming initiated by Nabanita Das single-handedly and highly appreciated her spirit, commitment and dedication. The lady agri entrepreneur Nabanita Das, known as 'Pothar Konya', earlier extended a hearty welcome to Jitmol Doley with a Bihuwan and a flowering plant.
