Abu Bakkar Siddique, a renowned journalist and social worker of Chirang district was awarded the “Bharatiya Samaj Ratna-2023” by Global Scholars Foundation of Goa.

BONGAIGAON: Abu Bakkar Siddique, a renowned journalist and social worker of Chirang district was awarded the “Bharatiya Samaj Ratna-2023” by Global Scholars Foundation of Goa. Padmashree Mukesh Batra presented him the award recently at a grand event. Siddique, a journalist by profession is the president of Chirang district Press Club also. He is associated to many social organizations. He has devoted the last 20 years to journalism and social welfare in BTAD and the surrounding districts.
