Junior Doctor's Association of GMCH organized blood donation camp

GUWAHATI: The Junior Doctor's Association of Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) organized a blood donation camp at the GMCH auditorium on Wednesday. The camp will he held till May 8.

Minister of State Health and Family Welfare Pijush Hazarika was also present on the occasion. Talking about the current scenario due to the corona pandemic, Hazarika said that soon a law will be implemented to make face masks mandatory. "The situation in the State is not normal and if any person is found roaming on the streets without face masks then he/she can be fined up to Rs. 500. Everyone should be aware and follow the guidelines of the government. The State government is taking special measures to contain the spread of the virus, especially on the border areas," the minister added.
