KAAC CEM Tuliram Ronghang sent workers to provide relief material

DONKAMUKAM: Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) CEM Tuliram Ronghang sent workers to provide relief material to the flood-affected families under No.6 Bithung Rengthama MAC Constituency in West Karbi Anglong. Altogether 548 families received 10 kg rice each on Monday.

The CEM also allotted four wooden boats in the affected areas to be used for any emergency purpose during floods. Chairman of Veterinary Development Board, Ditolal Hasnu, Prodip Bordoloi and Peter Marak led the party workers in distribution of rice and boats.

A third wave of flood has hit West Karbi Anglong in a span of just a month due to incessant rain and release of excess water by NEEPCO in the Kopili River at Umrongso, Dima Hasao district and Karbi Langpi Hydro Project, Amtereng in West Karbi Anglong.
