KAAC Polls: Assam BJP Appoints Ranoj Pegu As Coordinator

Guwahati: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Assam president Bhabesh Kalita on Tuesday constituted a committee for the smooth functioning of the upcoming Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council.

Kalita has also appointed Assam Cabinet Minister Ranoj Pegu and Rajdeep Roy (MP) as coordinators.

''Hon'ble State President of Bharatiya Janata Party, Assam Pradesh Shri Bhabesh Kalita has constituted a committee for the smooth functioning of the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council Election -- 2022,'' an official statement from BJP read.

The members who will be a part of the committee are – Pijush Hazarika, Jogen Mohan, Naba Kumar Doley (MLA), Ashok Bhattarai (State Vice President), Vijay Kumar Gupta (District Prabhari, Karbi Anglong East), Rajkumar Sharma (District Prabhari, Karbi Anglong West), Nandita Garlosa (MLA, District Saha-Prabhari, Karbi Anglong East).

Apart from these, the other members are Pankaj Borbora (District Saha-Prabhari, Karbi Anglong West), Dhansing Teron (District-president, Karbi Anglong East) and Rodip Ronghang (District President, Karbi Anglong West).
