Kajal Gohain appointed as new Tinsukia Development Authority chairman

TINSUKIA: Kajal Gohain, former general secretary of All Assam Mottock Sanmilan assumed the charge of chairman of Tinsukia Development Authority. The post was lying vacant for past four years. Gohain, who was spearheading anti-CAA agitation in Tinsukia district, joined BJP when agitation was at the peak. Armed with the appointment letter, issued by Minister of State for Urban Development, Piyush Hazarika, Gohain took charge on Friday in presence of ADC Pabitra Kumar Das and other TDA officials.
