Kalaigaon Pragatishil Janamancha to celebrate silver jubilee on February 26

KALAIGAON: Kalaigaon Pragatishil Janamancha will celebrate its silver jubilee on February 26 with a day-long programme. The function will start with lighting of lamp by senior citizen Komiram Saharia on February 26. After that, the flag of Janamancha will be hoisted by Tarun Azad Deka, president of Kalaigaon Pragatishil Janamancha, and he will be accompanied by MLA Maheshwar Baro. On the occasion, drawing and essay writing competitions will be organized. Meanwhile, an open meeting with cultural programme will be held and BTC EM Diganta Barua will inaugurate it.

The celebration committee has invited several guests like MP Dilip Saikia, Deputy Commissioner Prakash Ranjan Gharphalia, SDO (C) Gakul Ch. Brahma and former BTC EM Jagadish Sarkar. Moreover, singer Dilip Barua and Rinti Mani Deka will take part in this function also as guests.
