Kamtapur Liberation Organisation Sergeant Major nabbed by Garhwal Rifles from Makum

Tinsukia: In a joint operation by the 3^rd Garhwal Rifles and Assam Police apprehended one hardcore Kamtapur Liberation Organisation (KLO) cadre and Sergeant-major from Makum in wee hours on Tuesday morning.

The Kamtapur Liberation Organisation cadre was identified as Sergeant major Mukanda Koch alias Jyotish Roy.

The security forces had also recovered two live bullets from his possession.

As per police sources, Mukanda Koch joined the militant organization in 2015.
