KAZIRANGA: Kaziranga National Park (KNP) will reopen for tourists from October 12 after its routine closure for the monsoon season. A notification was given on Thursday by the Divisional Forest Officer to reopen KNP for the year 2019-2020. However, due to inclement weather road condition inside the national park, only jeep safari at Kaziranga range, Kohora and western range Bagori will be opened for tourist. The jeep safari in Kaziranga range, Kohora will be open up to Vaisamari and in Bagori it will open up to Dunga watchtower and Bimali Tiniali until further orders. The date of opening of eastern range Agaratali, Burapahar and Ghurakathi and elephant ride in KNP will be notified in due course of time.
