Kisan Samman Diwas celebrated at KVK, Sonitpur

TEZPUR: Kisan Samman Diwas was celebrated at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Sonitpur campus on Friday under Swachhata Pakhwada campaign, 2022.

The event was inaugurated by Angana Sarmah, (i/c) Head,KVK, Sonitpur with a welcome address to the farmers. Two farmers, namely Sikari Singh and Joyram Mahatu of the Sonitpur district, were felicitated in the event for their outstanding contribution toward the farming community.

Morjina Begum, president, Gaon Panchayat, Napam, was present in the event and addressed the farmers. All KVK staff were present in the programme. A total of 28 farmers actively participated in the event.
