Kokrajhar DC Varnali Deka announces Voter Awareness Contest

KOKRAJHAR: In order to participate in the First National Voter Awareness Contest being organized by the Election Commission of India (ECI) all across the country, the Kokrajhar district administration has also announced a series of contests based on the theme 'My Vote is My Future- Power of One Vote'.

Addressing a press meet held on Wednesday in the conference hall of the Deputy commissioner's office, Deputy Commissioner of Kokrajhar, Varnali Deka said that the contest would be held for all age groups in five categories which include quiz contest, slogan contest, song contest, video making and poster design contest. She informed that the song contest, video making contest and poster design contest had been classified in three categories like institutional, amateur and the top three winners in each category would have exciting cash prizes.

She appealed to all to participate enthusiastically in these contests and bring pride to the district by winning prizes. She also asked interested participants to visit https://ecisveep.nic/contest/ for more details and to submit their entries by March 15, 2022. The press meet was also attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajeev Kumar Das and Gagan Narzary, District Information and Public Relations Officer, Kokrajhar.
