On Monday, a meeting of the District Road Safety Committee (DRSC) was held in the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner's office, Kokrajhar under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner-cum-chairperson of DRSC of Kokrajhar district, Varnali Deka. The chairperson reviewed the measures taken by all departments including traffic, transport, highways, PWD etc. for the enforcement of road safety.

Stressing the importance of taking strict measures in road safety, the Deputy Commissioner urged all departments, including police and transport, to take strict action against bike stunts, rash and drunk driving.
