Kokrajhar Independent Candidate Naba Kumar Sarania tags Hagrama as ‘Alligator’ of BTC region

Tamulpur: Sitting Member of Parliament (MP) and Independent candidate for Kokrajhar Lok Sabha Constituency Naba Kumar Sarania on Wednesday tagged Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) Chief Hagrama Mohilary as the alligator of the region and also claimed him to be an opportunist.

Taking part in an election rally in Tamulpur under Baksa District along with his mother sitting MP Naba Kumar Sarania also claimed to win the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections with a huge majority.

It is to be noted that Naba Kumar Sarania, son of a soldier from the Indian Army will be contesting for the Lok Sabha elections for the second consecutive term.

Speaking to the media, Independent candidate, Naba Kumar Sarania said, “Politics is neither my craze nor my profession, I have been fielded for the people of my Bodoland Territorial Council. A-Bodo people in the BTC region have been left out from their rights and living an awful life, therefore, I had joined politics to provide them justice.”

Meanwhile, Naba Kumar Sarania was joined by his mother today in the election rally in Tamulpur had urged the people of BTC region to vote in favour of his son for the upcoming general elections to Lok Sabha.
