Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Lakhimpur conducted Animal health camp

LAKHIMPUR: The Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Lakhimpur under Assam Agricultural University organized an animal health camp at Karson, Mazgaon under Lakhimpur block on Saturday.

The health camp was conducted under the chairmanship of Dr Prasanta Kumar Pathak, Senior Scientist and Head, KVK Lakhimpur and officiated by Dr Arindam Chakraborty, Subject Matter Specialist (Animal Science). Veterinary Officer, BCPP, Dr Jugal Kalita and experts from Lakhimpur College of Veterinary Science, Dr Donna Phangchopi, Dr Soni Doimari and Dr Priyanka Konwar acted as resource persons. More than 250 livestock and poultry suffering from various disease conditions were treated in the camp.
