Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Tinsukia organized PM-KISAN programme

A webcasting programme was organized on Wednesday by Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Tinsukia on the occasion of releasing the 15th instalment under PM KISAN scheme and launching of Bharat Ki Vikas Yatra as well as Yatra on Janajatiya Gaurav Diwas by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Khunti, Jharkhand.

TINSUKIA: A webcasting programme was organized on Wednesday by Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Tinsukia on the occasion of releasing the 15th instalment under PM KISAN scheme and launching of Bharat Ki Vikas Yatra as well as Yatra on Janajatiya Gaurav Diwas by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Khunti, Jharkhand. The occasion was graced by Sub Divisional Agriculture Officer Margherita, Binoy Medhi, along with ADO Margherita Gaurav Phukan and Priyakhi Borah along with Sr. Scientist and Head, Mrinmoy Chetia and other personnel of KVK, Tinsukia. The webcasting programme was viewed by a total of 55 farmers.

Tezpur: A webcasting programme on 15th installment of PM KISAN and inauguration of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra was organised by KVK Sonitpur in collaboration with District Agriculture department, Sonitpur on Wednesday. The programme was graced by DDC, Gaya Prasad Agarwal, Assistant Director of Agriculture Mizanur Rahman Chowdhury, Senior Agriculture Development Officer Ashim Pathak, Agriculture Development Officer Sanjeev Saikia, Dipankar Barik, Kamal Krishna Das, Panchamika Dutta and District Media Expert, Bitupan Saikia.

The objective of the programme was webcasting of launching of the PM-PVTG Development Mission by PM Narendra Modi. PM-PVTG is a scheme meant for the overall development of around 28 lakh people from Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups in a special programme to mark the birth anniversary of tribal freedom fighter Birsa Munda on November 15, which has been celebrated as Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas.

In the same programme, PM has also released the 15th installment of PM KISAN. Chief guest DDC, Sonitpur, interacted with the farmers and requested farmers to avail benefits from government schemes by the farmers. The programme was attended by a large mass of farmers from various villages of the district. At the end of the programme, a farmer scientist interaction programme was also conducted where KVK scientists had a detailed discussion with farmers about the scientific cultivation of the upcoming rabi crops in the district.
