LAKHIMPUR: The Lakhimpur district administration on Wednesday gave warm felicitation to the rank holders of the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) exam, 2022 and Assam High Madrassa (AHM) exam, 2022 from the district.
In this connection, a ceremonial programme was organized in the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner's office in the presence of Lakhimpur MP Pradan Baruah, MLA Manab Deka, Deputy Commissioner Sumit Sattawan.
In the programme, State HSLC topper Raktotpal Saikia of St. Mary's High School, North Lakhimpur, third rank holder Partha Pratim Das of Luminous Academy of Bihpuria, fifth rank holder Equit Abbot Dutta of St. Mary's High School of North Lakhimpur, seventh rank holder Sarmistha Bhagawati of Jawaharjyoti High School of Pithaguri, ninth rank holder Partha Pratim Borah of Gyanjyoti Academy of Narayanpur, 10th rank holder Ayon Mitra of St. Mary's High School of North Lakhimpur and AHM exam third rank holder Sahnaj Parbin of Doulotpur Madrassa were feted with phulam gamosa, japi and bundle of books.
In the programme, the parents of the brilliant students were also feted by the district administration. The programme was also attended by the Inspector of Schools Dr. Ramesh Chandra Chutia, principals, headmasters, headmistresses of the schools along with the officials of the Education Department in the district.
In the same programme, MP Pradan Baruah took the responsibility of Sahnaj Parbin for her higher education while MLA Manab Deka shouldered the responsibility of Equit Abbot Dutta and Ayon Mitra for the same.
