Lakhimpur district administration to delimit wards under NLMB

LAKHIMPUR: The Lakhimpur district administration has taken the decision to delimit Ward No. 2, Ward No 3, Ward No 5, Ward No.12 and Ward No. 14 as per resolution taken by North Lakhimpur Municipal Board (NLMB). This was declared by Lakhimpur Deputy Commissioner Dr. Jeevan B through an administrative notice on Friday.

In this regard, the connected documents related to the process of delimitation are kept under the custody of Circle Officer of North Lakhimpur Revenue Circle. The notice stated that the interested citizens of North Lakhimpur town could examine the connected documents in the CO office concerned during the office hour and submit claims and objections, if any, to the DC writing his full name, address and contact number within 30 days. No claims and objections shall be received after expiry of thirty days, the notice stated.
