Lakhimpur district Mahila Congress Committee celebrated International Women’s Day

LAKHIMPUR: The Lakhimpur district Mahila Congress Committee celebrated International Women’s Day by organizing an awareness program on coronavirus which has assumed an epidemic status worldwide.

The awareness programme was organized under the auspices of Karunabari Block Mahila Congress Committee among the homeless aged people staying at ‘Ashray’, the senior citizens’ home located at Bongalmora under the district, managed by Jagriti Sanmilita Unnayan Kendra. After the awareness programme, the aged people of the Ashray were felicitated with clothes.
