Lecture on social behaviour, responsibility of students held at Lakhimpur Telahi Kamalaboria (LTK) College

LAKHIMPUR: The Telahi-Kamalaboria branch unit of Jyeshtha Nagarik Sanmilan conducted a lecture event on Tuesday. The event was held at Lakhimpur Telahi Kamalaboria (LTK) College on a topic ‘Social behaviour and responsibility of students’ and it commenced with Nila Chutia, the president of the organization, in the chair. The agenda of the event began with the lighting of ceremonial lamps by noted academician and writer Dr Mukunda Rajbonshi. It was inaugurated by national awardee science writer Dr Amiya Rajbonshi while Principal of the LTK College, Dr Bubul Kumar Saikia delivered the welcome address.

Professor Mrinalini Goswami took part as resource person of the event. In her lecture, Goswami threw light on the role of parents and guardians with regard to moulding the moral conduct of their children and teaching them social behaviour. She also appreciated the organizers for initiating such lecture events in a series. The event was held under the management of secretary Dambarudhar Nath with active support from Professor Dr Licy Baruah.

Professor of LTK College, Niru Nath also delivered lecture in the event wherein hundreds of students from various educational institutions located in the Telahi-Kamalaboria area were present.
