Lecture on women empowerment held in Sonitpur district

TEZPUR: On Monday, the Lokra Battalion in the Sonitpur district organised a lecture on women's empowerment at the Village Panchayat Conference Hall, under the auspices of Agartala Sector. The programme emphasised the value of women's empowerment and the effects it has on society. It has been noted that empowering women entails fostering an atmosphere in which they may take charge of their life, make their own decisions, and realise their ambitions. Without any bias or discrimination, women should be allowed to be who they want to be.“Together with six ward members and fifty women from the hamlet, the event was attended by the presidents of Samta Society, Lokra Mahila Suraksha Association, and Baura Gaon.
